Investors Bank made a commitment during the pandemic to help support several non-for-profits throughout our footprint. Each Investors branch bankwide was given $1,500 budget to support family & individual community members that were having a tough time navigating through the pandemic. Investors team members physically shopped for elderly citizens that were afraid to go to the store. We bought groceries for families in need and we continuously reach out to customers to check in on how they were doing. Through a local foundation we donated funds that was used to purchase meals for families and first responders at the Winthrop Pediatric Unit. We also made it a point to use local restaurants to help ease some of their burden. One of our managers with the help of family and team members produced and donated over 500 headbands to Winthrop & Huntington Hospital so first responders and hospital employees could attach their mask too. Investors also continue to support numerous organization at the same level as 2019, even though many of the functions were canceled. Investors Foundation also made a $100,000 grant to Stony Brook Hospital.
